Hess of Flushing, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hess and Edith Hess (Morey); the mother of his children Patricia Lunney-Hess; and his children, Ric Hess and Patricia Goetz.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hess; his daughters, Heidi Hess-Wenz and Martha Jaynes; his stepdaughters, Jacqueline Burden, Linda Genovese (David) and Lisa Burden (Bonnie Russell); his grandchildren, Sarah Coleman (Anthony), Jennifer Barrett (Josh) and Terry James Guthrie; his great grandchildren, Jemma Barrett, Justus Barrett, Olivia Coleman, Able Coleman, Jasmine Guthrie, Layla Guthrie and Gabe Guthrie; and his close friend Cleveland Harrington (Sharon).
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
