He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Turner and Eva Turner (Harrison); and his former wife Donna Valley. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Browning; his children, Richard (Stephanie Turner), Diana (Joe Mitchell) and Leanna (Todd Cussans); and his stepchildren, Lance (Tammi Browning) and Susan (Jim Gough).
