She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Thompson (Goodwin); her siblings, Bonnie Ragsdale (Hubert), Johnny Jay Thompson and Daniel Thompson; and her children, Jonathan James Shutes and Mary Katherine Shutes.
She is survived by: her husband James Shutes; her children, Eric Shutes (Sylvia) of Flint, MI, Melissa Fairgrieve (Kevin) of Flushing, MI, Mark Shutes (Robin) of Davison, MI, Nathan Shutes (Natasha) of Merritt Island, FL, Kaitlyn Shutes of Grand Blanc, MI and Erin Muguerza of Grand Blanc, MI.; and her siblings, Lana Wright (JD), Michael Thompson (Thelma), Toby Thompson (Theresa) and Robin Thompson (Linda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
