He is survived by: his children, Randi Cotton of Ann Arbor and Glenn Cotton of Flushing; his grandchildren, Nigel Cotton of Portugal, Sierra Cotton of Chicago and Justin Cotton of Los Angeles; and his cousin Raymond Pointer, Jr..
