She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Chomik and Irena Kataryna Chomik (Iwanicki); and her husband Bill Swarthout. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Martin (Michael) and Daria Godfrey (Christopher); her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Franz (Dutch), Paul Swarthout (Carol), Glennie Duke (Jim) and James Wasalaski; her nieces and nephews, Melissa Bueche (Bill), Nick Martin (Savannah), Lesya Godfrey, Katie Godfrey (Colin Howell), Mary Grace Narkhi, Anastassia Cassady (Robbert), John Godfrey (Allie) and Michael Godfrey; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Chloe, Sophie, Maisie, Madison Jane, Catherine, Felix, Sebastian, Cassian, Anya, Genevieve, Ivanka and Dmitri; and her cousin Katerina Kravchuk.
