He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Burwell and Irene Burwell (Nixon); his wife Leone P. Burwell; his children, Sally Ladhe and Sam Burwell (Lisa); his stepchildren, Phyllis Williams, Nick Simpson (Chiab) and Laura Stewart (Rick); his sons, Ronald Burwell and Charles Burwell; and his stepdaughter Susan Johnson. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
