He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester and Virginia; his brother Patrick Tylus; and his parents-in-law, John and Phyllis Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa; his children, Ian Tylus and Sarah Tylus; his grandchildren, Jasmin Lynn Balanowski and Jayla LuElla Anne Rose; his siblings, Nancy Earl, Rochelle Curnow (David) and Bonnie Gilman (Don); his nieces and nephews, Branden Tylus, Alyx Earl (Christine), Evan Gilman, Mikayla Gilman and Olivia Hughes; and his brother-in-law Chris Hughes.
