Madonna Kurtz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madonna Kurtz of Flushing, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Lipinski and Theresa Lipinski (Hintz); her daughter Julia Teahen; and her sister Colette Smith. She is survived by: her husband Edward Kurtz; her children, Krista McGuire (Chris) and Thomas Kurtz (Athena); her son-in-law Roy Teahen; her grandchildren, Max, Halle McGuire, Joseph, Nolan, Elise Teahen, Edward and Violet Kurtz; her brothers, Larry Lipinski and Tom (Bonnie Lipinski); and her brother-in-law Jim Smith.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A rosary was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (2415 Bagley St, Flint, MI 48504).
