She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Thompson (Green) and Walter Thompson; her husband Rick Cox; and her brothers, Dennis, George "Jody" and Michael Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Thompson of Westland and Jennifer Shann (Casey) of Dewitt; her grandchildren, Camren, Mason, Grace and Leah Shann; her goddaughter Natalie Thompson of Chicago, IL; and her sisters, Vicki Baumgardner (Ray) and Wendy Whitcomb (Chris). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Stoneleigh Residence & Hospice of Lansing.
