It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Alexander Stokes of Flushing, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stokes and Isabell Stokes (Hunter); his son Alan; his wife Hazel; and his sister Marie Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Talbot (Jeff) of Flushing, MI and Brian Stokes of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Amy Yax (Andy) of Southfield, Ian Carsten (Jennifer), Dan Carsten, Kyle Stokes of Croswell, Kevin Stokes (Erin) of Almont and Alexis Cain (Austin) of Howell; and his great grandchildren, Zander, Alexyne, Skylar, Hayden, Macailah, Broderick, Alana, Arden, Jameson and Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
