She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Niec and Wanda Niec (Reszka); her sons, Phillip J. Nord and Alan T.; her daughter-in-law Janice Nord; her daughter Lynn O'Connor; her daughter-in-law Maria L. Nord; her grandsons, Phillip John Nord and Justin Phillip John Nord; her great grandchild Noa Applegate; and her siblings, Chester Niec, Floyd Niec, Helen Ondovcsik and Dorothy Dzido.
She is survived by: her children, Michael L. Nord and Laura L. Major; and her grandchildren, Janelle Legrande, Jason Nord, Ron Nord, Jennifer Jesme, Michael Nord II, Jessica Nord, Jamie Applegate (Eric) and Tyler Major. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and other loving family members.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rossell Funeral Home (307 E Main St, Flushing, MI 48433). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whaley Children's Center.
