He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Edwin and Idale Lannon (Cook); and his son Mark Edwin. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his sons, Scott Lannon (Pamela) and Brent Lannon (Karin); his grandchildren, Sydney Lantzy (Tom), Madison Lannon, Elliot Lannon, Payton Lannon and Dominic Lannon; and his siblings, Bruce Lannon (Gail), Kathryn Lannon and Joan Jones.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
