He is survived by: his children, Donna and Dwight; his grandchildren, Jolie Chavarria-Howse, Joseph Howse, Annabell Howse, Georgia Howse and Sylvia Howse; his sister Kay Moore (Howse); and his caregiver Susan Leonard. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
