He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lanning and Frances Lanning (Feley); and his siblings, Donald Lanning, Beverly Clark, Robert Lanning and William Lanning.
He is survived by: his wife Belinda; his children, Ben Lanning, Andrea Brady (Tom), Brian Lanning (Skylar), Autumn Lanning, Brent Lanning (Katie) and Angela Lanning; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Kyleigh, Michael, Gabriel, Mason, Charlotte, Dylan, Wyatt and Izetta; and his brother Arnold Lanning. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
