She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Messier and Grace Messier; her brothers, Ed and Gerald; and her son Douglas (Donna).
She is survived by: her significant other Lee Yott; and her grandchildren, Yvette, Douglas Jr., Lee, Marie, Justin, Erika, Sarah, Amberly, Alyssa, Samantha, Jenna and Drew. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
