He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Simpson (Norma) and Avis Simpson (Hughlett); and his siblings, Charles, Chet, Paul, Michael, Richard Simpson and Donna Stewart.

He is survived by: his spouse Rikki Sebastian; his sons, Jason Simpson (Ann) and Timothy Simpson (Brooke); his grandchildren, Jackson and Emma Simpson; his former wife Rikki Simpson; and his siblings, Janet Riley (Charles), Dale Simpson (Ruth), Jerry Simpson (Janet), Darlene Simpson, Brenda Tanner (Brian), Vic Simpson and Marryann Mansfield (George). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
