He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Bland and Hannah Bland (Amos). He is survived by: his children, David (Julie Bland), Michael (Barbara Bland) and Karen (Ed Blair); his grandchildren, Michael, Amy Lorenz (Nick), Kevin, Katherine, Megan Fabiilli (Franco), Kristen, Dan (Aubreigh) and Alex (Maddie); and his great grandchildren, Cecilia, Zachary, Lucas, Michael, Viviana and Brian.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rossell Funeral Home (307 E Main St, Flushing, MI 48433). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Robert Catholic Church (310 N Cherry St, Flushing, MI 48433).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center or Folds of Honor.
