She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Moore and Betty Moore; her husband Shannon L. Carey, Jr.; her daughter Carol L. Carey; and her siblings, Gladys Dearing, Kathryn Stern, Vera Presson, Dorothy Rush, Veneda Zerbe, Colleen Wilson, Roy Moore and Vernon Moore.
She is survived by: her sons, Brent L. Carey (Valarie) and Gregg A. Carey; her grandchildren, Kimberly, Allison and Jeffrey; and her great grandchild Jason.
