She was predeceased by: her parents, Stefan Davidek and Anna Davidek (Prohaska); her husband Robert Benedict; her sons, Scott and Christopher Benedict; and her brothers, Stefan, Edward and Robert Davidek.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Garrity of Poughkeepsie, Michael Benedict (Pamela) of Flint, Matthew Benedict (Jeanine Petit) of Flint and Patrick Benedict (Mary) of Brighton; her grandchildren, Abigail Witter (Zach), Anna Garrity, Olivia Garrity (Shira Adam), Ian Garrity, Randi, Luke McMunigal, Adrian Benedict, Cory Glover, Camden Benedict, Luke Benedict, Mandi Benedict (Seth Meyer) and Matthew Benedict; and her great grandchildren, Coralie, Leila, Kennedy, Avery, Ramona and Reid.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Robert Catholic Church (310 N Cherry St, Flushing, MI 48433).
