Gerald John Fonger Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Fonger and Ilene Fonger (Anthony); and his siblings, Carol Fonger, Ronnie Fonger and Alan Fonger.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Fonger of Flushing; his children, Mark Fonger (Julie) of Gaylord and Shelly Dow (Marty) of Montrose; his grandchildren, Ashlie Bergeron (John), Heather Cole (Justin), Hillary Broomfield (William) and Kaylinn Sian (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Owen, Levi, Declan and Raegan; and his siblings, Jim Fonger (Elizabeth), Diane Rae (Roger) and Marilynn Huber (Gary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rossell Funeral Home (307 E Main St, Flushing, MI 48433). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. He was also involved with the 4H and RSVP in Gaylord.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerald's memory are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
