We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Elizabeth Loraine Kalakay of Flushing, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lahar and Zelda Lahar (Pero); her husband Eugene Lawrence Kalakay; and her siblings, George II, Harry, DeWayne, Gary, Eugene Lahar and Lucille Bissonnette.

She is survived by: her children, Beth Schultz (Clyde) of Flushing, Mary Crafton (Benny) of Swartz Creek, Michele Dresbach (David) of Burton, Brian Kalakay of Waterford and John Kalakay (Heidi) of Clio. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Those desiring may make contributions to the North End Soup Kitchen or Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
