It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy J. Stout of Flushing, Michigan, born in Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry C. Backert and Myrtle A. Backert (Tressel); her husband John S. Stout; and her sisters, Mary E. Wolf and Helen R. Wiebers.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Robert Weaver) of Lawrence, KS, J. Stephen (Jayna) of Flushing and Dr. David M. (Eileen) of Pittstown, NJ. She is also survived by six granddaughters; and 11 great-granddaughters and 1 great-grandson.
