He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maynard "Doc" Ellingson and Mary Jane Ellingson (Barnes); his wife Yvonne Perkins; and his children, Kelly Burris, Chester Ellingson, Jr. (Sandra), Kathleen Sheetz, Laurie Pettengill, Joleen Sheetz and Dennis Sheetz. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
