It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Charles McCartney of Flushing, Michigan, born in Owosso, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 77, on April 5, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Charles and Rose Adelaide McCartney (Mulcahy); and his sister Helen Rita McCartney. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Birchmeier; his children, Shawn (Dale Jandernoa), Alison (Stan Tomczyk), Michael (Michelle McCartney), Brian McCartney and Nicholas (Hanna McCartney); his grandchildren, Eddie, Matthew, Luke Tomczyk, Elizabeth, Andrew, Christopher Jandernoa, Benjamin, Gavin McCartney, Nicki and Eve McCartney; his siblings, Rosemary Schlaud, Phyllis (Joe Riley) and Tom (Janie McCartney); and his farm hand Jester. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert Catholic School.
