He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathleen Phillips; his sons, Charles Jr. (Christine), James (Becky), John (Trish) and Jeff (Nicole); his sister Janet Carnell; and his siblings-in-law, Jessica Van Nord (Roger), Julia Gidcumb (Dan) and Tim Phillips.
