It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Straus of Flushing, Michigan, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Scharrer and Leah Scharrer (Higbee); her husband Paul Straus; and her siblings, Robert and Shirley.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Straus (Sherry) and Linda Weirauch (Greg); her grandchildren, Stephanie Jarrett (Jason), Sarah Burke (David) and Cydnee Weirauch (Mitchel Robertson); her great grandchildren, Jackson and Brooks; her sister Lucille; and her pet Tucker.
Family requests that all visitors wear masks during visitation.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Flushing Area Senior Center or Powers Catholic High School.
