He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Victor Borowiak and Joyce Marie Borowiak (Pike). He is survived by: his wife Debra Ann Phelps; his children, Alex James Borowiak of Flushing and Allison Joyce Montanez (Vicente) of New Mexico; his granddaughter Penelope James Montanez; and his sister Lena Ardizzona of Arizona.
