He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Thorson and Audra Thorson (Jensen); and his son Kevin. He is survived by: his wife Betty M. McGillen; his daughters, Rhonda L. Zolman and Michelle Williams (George); his brother Laren Thorson (Carol); his grandchildren, Austin C. Zolman, Sierra M. Hutmacher and Kelsey Krueger; his stepgrandchildren, Abby, Caleb and Izzy Williams; his pet Bella; and his sister Melva Jean.
