He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Rodgers and Valsie White (Sue); his wife Mary Rodgers; his daughter Michelle Rodgers; his uncle Mitchell; his aunt Everlee Conway (Pappa); and his siblings, Luerannia Keels, Ollie Baker, Pecolia Mixon, Icerine Conway, Claire Perkins, Mitchell Conway Sr., James Conway, George Conway Sr., Leroy Conway Sr. and Vance Conway.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Heath (Noland), Kathy Rodgers, Willie Rodgers Jr. (Trameka) and Kevin Rodgers; his grandchildren, LaToya Young (Jimmie), Brandon Heath, Jalen Heath, Willie Rodgers III, Ty Rodgers and Savannah Rodgers; his great grandchild Willie Rodgers IV; his siblings-in-law, Willie J. Williams (Amaryllis) and Glenda Williams; his nieces and nephews, Zajayla Williams, DeKechra Williams, Keisha Williams, Charles W. Williams and Michael Murphy; his great-nieces, Zariana and Zyani Williams; and his godson Michael Witherspoon (Laurecia). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Zion Missionary Baptist Church (721 Johnson St, Saginaw, MI 48607). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
