He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Coon (Burton); his brother Ralph Coon Jr.; and his pet Chico. He is survived by: his father Ralph Coon (Gisela Stanand); his children, Cameron Coon, Adam Coon (Felecia) and Alexandria Shann Sr. (David); his stepson Matthew Simmons Sr.; and his grandchildren, Matthew Simmons Jr., Maddison Shann, Grayson Serre, David Shann Jr. and Breanna Shann.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Durand Church of God (10411 Newburg Rd, Durand, MI 48429).
