He was predeceased by: his parents, Treffle LaBelle and Alma LaBelle (Mondoux); his siblings, Lawrence, Roland, Robert, Donald, Ernest and Jean Varney; his stepbrother Glen Manier (Sonny); and also Glen Manier.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine D. Kady of Davison, MI.; and his children, Kurt LaBelle (Amy) of Oscoda, MI, Janis Wells of Bridgeport, MI, Lisa Tharp (Steve) of Battle Creek, MI, Diane Muchler (Dave) of Plymouth, MI and Karen Kern (Tim) of Mosheim. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (5191 Richfield Rd, Flint, MI 48506).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Medical Team Hospice, in Thomas' memory.
