She is survived by: her children, Johnny of Flint, Donald Tompkins (Rachel) of Rincon, GA and Sonya Kirkland (Mac) of Flint; her daughter-in-law Kathy Tompkins of Otisville; her grandchildren, David Tompkins, John Tompkins II (Racheal), Kathleen Callahan (Apryll) and Edward Tompkins; and her sister-in-law Mary McElrath of Little Rock, AR. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
