It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth O. Sharpe (Flint, Michigan), who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ruth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Outland and Edna Outland; her brothers, Robert Outland, Gerald Outland and Jack Swick; and her daughter Rebecca Gwillim.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Gwilym (Keith) and Thomas Gwillim (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Jacob and Hannah Gwillim.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Court Street United Methodist Church (225 W Court St, Flint, MI 48502).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made in Ruth's name to Court Street United Methodist Church.
