Michael W. Saunders Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael W. Saunders of Flint, Michigan, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Saunders and Virginia Wiltze; his in-laws, Gerald and Carol Starkey; his siblings, Constance Mace (Melvin), Ken Saunders (Josephine) and Dan Saunders; and his brother-in-law Walter Cushard.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Alex Saunders of Flint and Maggie Tolasch (Kevin) of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Alexandria, Christopher, McCauley and McKenzie Tolasch; his siblings, David Saunders (Denise), Janice Cushard, Judy Benedict (David), Cindy Johnston (Ken), Bob Saunders (Deb) and Tim Saunders (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Starkey (Cheryl) and Yvonne Greiner (Patrick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507).
Per Michael's wishes cremation will take place after the Funeral Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to NEW Life Center or St. John Vianney Vocational Education Fund.
