He was predeceased by: his father Richard Levi Butts; his former wife Marie Butts (Phaneuf); and his father-in-law James O. Phaneuf. He is survived by: his mother Betty June Butts (Huffman); his spouse Sandy Butts; his daughter Katy (Chris Peckham) of Roanoke, IN; his grandsons, Wesley and Connor Peckham; his siblings, Sandy Bigney, Jay Butts (Cherie) and Ron Butts (Jeannette); his mother-in-law Mary Jean Phaneuf; and his brother-in-law David Phaneuf (Cindy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
