It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Jones Jr. of Flint, Michigan, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Thomas Jones, Sr. (Shirley) of Saginaw, Michigan.; and his grandparents, Willie, Magnolia Carter, Jim and Mary Jane Jones.
He is survived by: his mother Edna Jones of Flint; his siblings, Mary Jane Palmer, Craig Jones Jones (Davonn), Kelvin Jones of Flint, Michigan, Kenneth Jones (Cynthia) of Franklin, Tennessee, Sherman Sampson (Gloria) of Saginaw, Michigan, Andre Sampson (Teresa) of Grand Rapids and Tammy Lee of Valdosta, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Justice, Daniyah, Deja and Ariyanna; and the mother of his children Teresa Jones. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Chapel (1009 E Stewart Ave, Flint, MI 48505). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at 3918 Fleming Rd, Flint, MI 48504.
