It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta Mae Harris in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie A. Harvey and Robert Williams; her stepfather Andrew Harvey; her son E. Lynn Harris; her brothers, James A. Williams and TeRoy Gaines, Jr.; and her grandson LaMark McAdoo.

She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Nelson of Little Rock, Arkansas, Zettoria McDaniel of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jan Ogbulafor of Little Rock, Arkansas; her siblings, Arthur Gaines of Little Rock and Jessie Phillips of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Corey Obi, Roshaunda Franks (James), Tony Nelson, Sr., Whitney Harris, Jasmine Atkinson (DeShaun) and Makell Nelson; and her adoptive daughters, Pankye Fells, Clora Williams and Wanda McAdoo. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
