He was predeceased by: his parents, David Stanley and Lois Stanley (Martin); his grandparents, Alvin, Melvinnie Stanley, Melvin and Nellie Leineke; and his siblings, Daniel Stanley and Deborah Kimmel.
He is survived by: his close friends, Tim Grant, Sherry Vanderhagen and Sharise Schwartz; his friend Kay Crawford; his brother David Stanley (Kristine); his nephew Micah Stanley (Kaylin) of Fenton; his niece Angela Youmans of Montrose; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jameson Youmans of Grand Blanc, Jonah Stanley of Fenton, Ashley Stanley of Montrose, Dominique Jacoby (Joshua) of Ortonville and Shaelynn Lavrack of Flushing; his uncle Robert Stanley; and his aunts, Barb Johns of Burton, Rosemary Hall of Lake George and Jeannette Benner of Clio.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 11:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donald's memory may be made to Saint Paul Episcopal Church, Flint Michigan, or any local veterans support center.
