She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Icke and Sydney Icke (Flint). She is survived by: her husband Reverend Richard L. Merrell of Paul's Episcopal Church; her brother George Icke; and her children, Ellen Merrell McComb (Max), Matthew Merrell (Jenise), Elizabeth Paulson, John Merrell (Debbie) and Martha Mary Merrell (Kurt). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
