She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Smith and Alice Smith (Haas); her siblings, Gerald W. Smith, Jr., Denise Smith and Diane Engle; and her brother-in-law Lee Padgett.
She is survived by: her children, Jalayne (Scott Barnes) of Flushing and Jeremy (Amy Marshall) of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Brandon Barnes, Owen and Elliana Marshall; her sisters, Jolene Padgett of Flint and Debbie Smith (Morgan) of Tucson, Arizona; and her brother-in-law Ralph Engle of Detroit. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
