We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2025, at the age of 77, Celeste Berneda Fredericks of Flint, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Celeste Berneda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Celeste Berneda. Though Celeste Berneda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Swanson and Celeste Swanson (Robertson); her daughter Tonya Parrish; and her significant other Jim Brown. She is survived by: her son Todd Toman; her brother Mark Swanson (Cindy); and her nephews, Kirk and Kyle Swanson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesee County Humane Society in honor of Berneda.
