He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sr. Bair and Ruth Bair; his siblings, Ernest Landis and Carol Kugler; his mother-in-law Iva Schofield; and his brothers-in-law, Thural Kugler and William Putnam.
He is survived by: his children, Donald (Jennifer), Shannon (Andy), Samantha (Edward), Dea and Autumn (John); and his grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Alex, Kassandra, Rachelle, Desmond, Tiara, Tanya and Conner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a very long list of close friends.
