He is survived by: his parents, Mariah Dodds and Brian Phillips; his godmother Kristen "Tweety" Sigler; his brother Jayden Phillips; his grandparents, Dolores Dodds, Roger Dodds (Emily Logan), Kathleen Phillips and Robert M. McClintock; and his aunts and uncles, Derek Dodds (Christian Dew), Raquel Smouthers (Lenny), Darian Dodds, Christopher Anderson, Nicholas Phillips, Ashley McClintock, Tony Schmelter and Robert A. "Bubby" McClintock.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Zayn's memory are suggested to the family's benefit account through Fifth Third Bank in the name of: Mariah Dodds and Children Benefit Account.
