It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Walter Kurtzhals (Flat Rock, Michigan), who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Kurtzhals and Esther Kurtzhals; and his siblings, Irene Starkey, Fredrick and Ervin Kurtzhals, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Bill Kurtzhals (Erica), Leslie Castignola (Steve) and Paul Kurtzhals (Laura); his grandchildren, Bill Kurtzhals (Ashley), Jason Kurtzhals (Ashleigh), Bo Castignola (Meg), Marissa Coniff (James), Dori Swiercz (Austin), Thorn Kurtzhals, Jodi Kurtzhals and Nadia Kurtzhals; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Kaelyn, William, Lawrence, Alayna, Beckham, Brynn and Logan; and his brother Ralph Kurtzhals. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Arnoldo's Banquet Center (18275 Quarry Rd, Riverview, MI 48193). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
