He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sperling and Julia Sperling; and his sister Barbara Gepes (late William). He is survived by: his wife Betty Sperling; his daughters, Michaela Smith (Dixon), Teri Creighton (Mike) and Kathleen Masserant (John); and his siblings, Kathleen Antolovic (late Joseph) and Gerald Sperling (Mary Jane).
