He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Spackey and Mildred Spackey (Heller); his wife Leona Spackey (Rick); and his brothers, Edwin Spackey, Russell Spackey and Arthur Spackey.
He is survived by: his children, William Spackey (Jodie), Loretta Benson, Ronda Besler and Richard Spackey, Jr. (Rose); and his sister Bonnie Schwab. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
