She was predeceased by: her husband John Kirkpatrick; and her parents, Emil Petri and Mary Petri. She is survived by: her stepsons, John Kirkpatrick (Jeanne) and Jeffrey Kirkpatrick (Linda); her granddaughter Marissa Hoepner (William); and her brother John Petri (Diane). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michigan Humane Society.
