It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Palmer (Flat Rock, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanton Palmer and Edna Palmer (Rowed); and his brother-in-law Leo Gonia. He is survived by: his fiancé Rickie Huddleston; his children, Dawn Chatman (Chris Sweney), Evelyn Palmer (Gary Luyben), Valerie Palmer and Nicholas Palmer (Caitlin); his grandchildren, Alexander Chatman, Chelsea Chatman, Nathaniel Luyben and Aidan Luyben; and his siblings, Delores Gonia, James Palmer (Joyce), Melvin Palmer (Margie) and Alvin Palmer (Denise).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
