It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Robert Mentzert (Flat Rock, Michigan), who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mentzert and Mary Mentzert (Schuster); and his daughter Michelle. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn L. Boge; his son Timothy (Nicole Busenbark); and his sister Patricia Cullin (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Promedica Hospice or Brownstown Historical Museum.
