He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Cook; his parents, Marion Cook and Pauline Cook; and his siblings, Karen York and Ricky Ted Moses.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Boyd; his children, Leslie Cook and James Cook (Kristy); his grandchildren, Malina Stovall and James Lester Stovall; his siblings, Barbara Perry, Marion Cook (Patsy), Bill Cook, Mildred Kinder (Jerry), Diane Hill (Earl) and Kathleen Meadors (Wesley); and his niece Girl. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
